Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 August 2026

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern your use of the Victory Road website and your purchase of tickets to events we organize. By creating an account or buying a ticket you accept them. Victory Road is operated from Spain; these terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the consumer protections of your country of residence.

2. Your account

You need an account with a complete profile (name, country and player ID) to buy tickets or join a waitlist. Keep your credentials to yourself: everything done from your account is treated as done by you. You must provide accurate information — tournament registration relies on it.

3. Tickets

  • A ticket grants one person admission to the event and ticket it names, subject to the venue's rules and the event schedule published on the event page.
  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable. The QR code is unique; the first valid scan at the door admits the holder and later scans of the same code are rejected.
  • Some tickets require that you already hold another ticket of the same event (for example, side events reserved for main-event participants). Any such requirement is shown before purchase.
  • Prices are shown with taxes included and any booking fees itemised before you pay.

4. High-demand sales, queues and waitlists

For high-demand sales we operate a fair virtual queue. Your place in the queue is personal, cannot be transferred, and expires if you do not complete your purchase within the time shown at checkout. When an event sells out you may join a waitlist; if a seat frees up you'll receive an invitation by email that is valid for a limited window before it passes to the next person. Circumventing the queue or using automated tools to buy tickets is prohibited and may lead to cancelled orders and account suspension.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: self-service before the event starts, per-ticket refund schedules shown before purchase, booking fees non-refundable, full refunds if we cancel an event. As tickets are leisure services with a set date, the standard EU 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to event tickets.

6. At the event

Admission is subject to the venue's and the game publisher's rules, including tournament regulations for sanctioned play. We may refuse entry or expel, without refund, anyone who is abusive, cheats, or endangers others. Events may be photographed or streamed; areas covered by cameras are indicated at the venue.

7. Changes to events

Line-ups, schedules, prize pools and side-event programs may change for reasons outside our control. Material changes are announced on the event page and, where they affect your ticket, by email. If we cancel an event outright, section 5 applies.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs, or for game results, rankings or invitations administered by game publishers.

9. Intellectual property

Pokémon and other game names are trademarks of their respective owners; their use on this site identifies the games played at our events and implies no endorsement. The site's own content and branding belong to Victory Road.

10. Contact and disputes

Questions about these terms: events@victoryroadvgc.com. If we can't resolve a dispute informally, EU residents may also use their local consumer-arbitration bodies or the courts of their place of residence.
